A description of the categories:

Celtic Designs

Spirals and knotwork abound in these designs which take their inspiration from the ornaments and decoration of the early Christian period in Ireland. The motifs are incorporated here into bookmarks and medallions.

Illumination

Ireland's illuminated manuscripts are world-famous, with their decorated lettering and zoomorphic creations. Various animals and beasties are featured here, along with some well-known sayings and verses designed in the illuminated style.

Lace Look

Limerick Lace is a traditional art which originated in the city of Limerick in Mid-west Ireland. This range of designs simulates the effect of the Lace, with Back-Stitch and Cross-Stitch patterns bounded in Back-Stitch outlines.

Nature

Flowers of the Burren and the Four Seasons are the two subjects for these designs, and whether or not you have visited the Burren, these are a must-stitch.

Ireland

A series of contemporary Irish designs including an Irish Dancer and various places of interest around Ireland such as Carrickfergus Castle, Bunratty Castle, Blarney Castle and the Rock of Cashel.

Devotional

Various motifs, relating to Israel, the Christian festivals and Biblical passages.

Occasion

A selection of samplers for weddings, births and anniversaries.
