The Burren Flower Wall Hanging

Picture of Burren Flower Wall Hanging

Clockwise from Top Left: Hoary Rockrose, Bee Orchid, Burnet Rose, Bloody Cranesbill, Mountain Avens, Spring Gentian, .

The Burren, about 375sq. miles of North West Co. Clare, is a unique habitat where arctic-alpine and Mediterranean plants grow side by side. Also lime-loving and lime-hating plants may be growing on the same turf. Visit in the Spring to see the flowers at their best.

The individual flowers are quite quick to stitch up. Some three quarter stitches and french knots are used to add realistic detail to these flowers. The collection is stitched on 22 hpi Hardanger material, which simplifies three quarter stitches as stitching is over two threads making it effectively 11 count.

Chart and colour pictorial reference supplied, P&P included in price.
